I just received the MRI results and its not so good. It looks like I have 2 fractures in my pelvis. That now brings the grand total to 5 fractures. Woohoo! Doc says no walking for 6 to 8 weeks. I still have a lot of discomfort in the hip area. Thanks for all your thoughts.

From Jason: I was injured racing Last Saturday in the Georgia Cup State Championships.
The race was restless from the start. I saw a lot of close calls just before my joyful flight to pain. Pace was high but manageable and I was settling in the top 10 thinking this would be the safest place to be. Coming into turn 4 I was sandwiched in  the middle when another racer Pedaled and hit the pavement high siding himself directly in front of me. No where to go I t-boned him and high sided myself. Thrown to the right trying to catch myself with my right leg and rolling. I overextended my hip. It was instant pain and I still do not know the extent of its injury. I do know that I have a broken elbow and a fracture in my foot. I will be going to the orthopedic today for MRI. Big Thanks to Steven Dean for taking me to the hospital and Eddie Hsu for helping my brother clean up Floyd(Airstream). Another big thanks to Big Scott Vitelli who carried me off the course. He also videoed the whole wreck and was playing it back to me while I was close to passing out. Addictive Cycles came through big last night with a wheel chair. Hodge and Cody Rock! I will be staying at my parents house in Jefferson since they have less stairs. Company is always welcome. I will keep you guys posted on my injuries.

I Just got back from Orthopedic. I have broken my heal, ankle and ball of my right elbow. I also have major soft tissue damage to my hip. I am scheduled Thursday for MRI to see the extent of that damage. Doctor says I will not be hundred percent for up to 3 months. My brother said my bikes front fork was trashed and the wheel. I had a lot of fun racing Saturday until the accident. I am glad that Cannondale Allset Elite Cycling Team still came home with 2nd overall for the weekend!
